INTERESTED IN ATTENDING PROJECT HOMELESS CONNECT KANSAS CITY?

MARK YOUR CALENDAR FOR SEPTEMBER 21, 2021 from 9am-3pm

After making the difficult decision to cancel our 2020 event due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are excited to share that we believe we can host a valuable event in 2021 that maintains safety of all (following CDC guidelines) while providing the critical services that are most desperately needed. So please mark your calendars for September 21, 2021.

 

As a participant of Project Homeless Connect Kansas City, you receive important services all in one day. Volunteers will be available to help guide you through the day. They'll help assess your needs and desires for the day to help you get the proper services to move your life forward. Services include:

  • Medical & immunizations
  • Vision screenings &
    prescription glasses
  • Dental* (proof of Covid-19 vaccination required for day-of services)
  • Missouri birth certificates

  • Housing assistance
  • Employment &
    education assistance
  • Family and child services
  • Food assistance programs
  • Counseling services

Please bring all vital documents you may have to help service providers process your needs easier, including any and all forms of IDs, Social Security Card, Birth Certificate or "Homeless/Shelter letter". To obtain a birth certificate, please review this list for the documentation required. Veterans, please bring DD214.

*PROOF of Covid-19 Vaccination required for day-of dental services.

Due to COVID-19 precautions, we are unfortunately unable to offer haircuts, showers, and portraits this year.

STOPS EVERY 30-40 MINUTES at the following locations:

WASHINGTON SQUARE PARK (22nd & Grand, near Crown Center)

DOWNTOWN KC LIBRARY (10th & Main)

CITY MARKET (near Streetcar stop at 5th Street)

KEMP PLAYGROUND (10th & Harrison)

HOPE FAITH (705 Virginia Ave.) - Event here
